My 4000m+ climb project
The project of an end of schooling and a life
Starting from the somewhat crazy dream of climbing the 82 4000m peaks of the Alps, I focused my end-of-school project in June 2026 on the acquisition of mountaineering techniques, my physical preparation and the ascent of my first 4000.
Who am I ?
My name is Ilan Taillebois (left in the photo).
I'm going to be 17 years old and I'm passionate about mountains, climbing and sports in general (basketball, cycling, etc.). I am a second year high school student at the Steiner school in Lausanne which allows me to do this project.
I did all my schooling in this school, first in Yverdon then in Crissier (Switzerland).
I also play the transverse flute in an orchestra and in my free time I like to go to the gym.

This is a project that is very close to my heart! But who also has a certain budget, between equipment, mountaineering courses, routes, cabins, guides...
